After the blockbuster success of Marvel's "Deadpool & Wolverine," Ryan Reynolds is suiting up once again for a holiday campaign.
This time, with Kidpool in tow, the "Merc with a Mouth" is getting a bit of help from legendary "Wonder Woman" actress Lynda Carter to raise awareness for SickKids Foundation.
SickKids was established in Canada in 1972 to assist Toronto's The Hospital for Sick Children in raising funds.
This holiday season, the nonprofit aims to extend its goal of advancing health technology to help children worldwide, assisted by superheroes.

To celebrate the campaign, Reynolds and his wife, "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively, have pledged to match any donation sent before midnight on December 24 at SickKidsSweaterLove.ca by up to $500,000.
This new campaign is a special one, marking the very rare instance of an unofficial DC and Marvel crossover.
It is a significant moment for the Deadpool brand, with the potential to turn into a viral marketing moment — for a great cause.
A Red Christmas
The spot opens with Deadpool and Kidpool on a Christmas sleigh.
"Benevolence is thirsty work," Deadpool says, as he tosses a sack of presents aside.
Kidpool asks where they're going next, to which Deadpool hilariously replies that they're going to "eliminate sick kids."
After a brief misunderstanding, Deadpool says that they're actually going to eliminate sickness by encouraging others to donate.
"We're gonna need some help because you and I are technically R-rated, and these are kinds, sick kids," Deadpool hilariously explains.

Suddenly, a huge flash of multicolored lights interrupts their conversation. Emerging from the mist is Carter, surprising the two 'Pools.
"Aren't you a... wonderful woman," Deadpool says cheekily.
After giving the actress a brief rundown, the Marvel characters ask her to do "the thing," referencing the star's iconic spinning suit-up from the 1970s "Wonder Woman" series.
Carter spins dramatically but ends up in a very familiar ugly Christmas sweater instead of her signature costume.

Eventually, the spot ends with a set of expletives and Deadpool blaming DC's lawyers for the wardrobe mishap.
The fan-favorite character's re-emergence is a welcome treat for fans and viewers who missed his antics after the release of his film.
Back in July, Deadpool popped up almost everywhere in a long series of ads that saw him teaming up with every brand under the sun, from Heineken to Heinz.
