More than 20 specialists, from UX designers and content strategists to WordPress engineers and SEO experts, collaborated to create an online platform that's greater than the sum of its parts.

Building a Modular WordPress Framework for Enterprise Scale

While the platform is powered by WordPress, Neuralab designed & developed a custom User Experience with a custom page builder, and 35+ reusable content blocks — designed for flexibility, consistency, and scale.

This modular framework represents a sophisticated approach to enterprise web development. Rather than building a rigid, monolithic site, the team created independent components that could be developed, tested, and maintained separately while working together seamlessly.

DYS’s former platform couldn't keep up with its growth.

Updates were slow, data was stale, and international coordination was clunky. Neuralab solved this with a suite of API integrations that connect the platform directly to multiple external systems.

These REST API integrations enable seamless communication between the website and third-party applications, allowing for real-time data retrieval and synchronization. The platform now connects directly to:

  • Hubspot CRM for regional lead routing & real-time yacht availability and pricing
  • WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin) with TextMaster integration for seamless content translation and distribution

"By leveraging APIs effectively, we enabled a unified flow of information, empowering teams to access data in real time, automate processes, and enhance customer experience.

This real-time layer also reduces backend effort, freeing the DYS team to focus on engagement and sales," explained Slobodan Alavanja, Neuralab’s lead developer.

Understanding The Psychology of Luxury Buyers

The platform's UX is designed around the psychology of high-end purchasing. The team conducted extensive research into luxury consumer behavior to create an experience that resonates with DYS' high-end audience.

To ensure alignment across teams and a smooth project rollout, the collaboration was structured around a series of focused working sessions:

  • Three dedicated workshops covering content types, user flows, sitemap, and template structure
  • Three workshops to review wireframes
  • Two workshops to present the final wireframes
  • Over 15 targeted meetings on CRM integration (HubSpot and Gravity Forms), homepage design, CTAs, development issues, and design approvals

The project management was equally rigorous, with exactly 249 opened and resolved Trello cards tracking every detail.

Luxury purchases are deeply rooted in emotional needs rather than practical ones. Consumers are drawn to how a brand or product makes them feel: powerful, sophisticated, successful.

Understanding this, the team designed an interface that evokes these emotions while maintaining the exclusivity that luxury buyers crave.
