Alan Wake 2 and Makia Launch a Limited ‘Cult Collection’ Line

In the world of entertainment marketing, games often team up with brands to create unique merchandise and celebrate new releases.

In June, PlayStation teamed up with NBA superstar Lebron James to create a limited edition PlayStation 5 console. 

Nintendo also dropped a Mario-themed Switch console in celebration of the release of Super Mario Bros. Wonder about two months ago.

This time, multi-award-winning game Alan Wake and Finnish clothing brand Makia have teamed up to create a limited "cult collection" to celebrate the much-anticipated sequel to the iconic psychological thriller.

The streetwear line, suitable for all genders, is inspired by the eerie universe of Alan Wake and the mysterious Cult of the Tree from the sequel. It also features the cult's symbols and the eerie deer masks worn by its members.

We present the Makia x Remedy Cult Collection, inspired by the nightmarish world of Alan Wake 2 and the Cult of the Tree. This is a collaboration with Makia, a Helsinki-based streetwear brand.

The Cult Collection will be available at Makia's official website, as well as in some of the clothing line's stores in Helsinki, Raisio, and Oulu across Finland. 

Thomas Puha, the Communications Director at the game's developer Remedy, praised the concept and quality of the merchandise by calling it a "dream come true."

Alan Wake 2 Officially Drops

Over a decade since its original release, the Alan Wake series continues to get praise for its exceptional narrative and atmospheric storytelling.
