Successful digital transformation entails a shift from traditional thinking, a path that often frightens businesses into stagnation.
Through the digital transformation process, the biggest demand for IT service providers has been driven by software development, including anything from websites and mobile apps to eCommerce and software-as-a-service (SaaS).
“Today, almost anything we see in the modern world is supported by software,” says Amit Mehta, the founder and CEO of Ace Infoway in an interview for Spotlight.
Mahta particularly notes the importance of artificial intelligence in the development of the software industry, stating that “AI and machine learning will continue to drive the software and app industries’ growth” and lead to changes in how software is developed and used.
Simultaneously, AI services can also be implemented to leverage existing software services for companies experiencing a digital transformation.
“The use of AI services in software or app development can help find patterns in the big data collected from your users. Using unstructured data, machine learning algorithms can provide useful insights into user behavior, enabling businesses to deliver more relevant experiences,” he explains.
Although AI is standing out as a rising star in software development, Mehta insists that a balance between innovative digitalization and tradition is key to success.
“The winner will always be the business that can effectively implement cutting-edge technologies while saving the cherished traditions of the ‘old business view’,” he concludes.
