Airbnb has announced the launch of "Airbnb Rooms," an all-new take on the original Airbnb, and over 50 new features and upgrades inspired by its customers' feedback. 

With the pandemic coming to an end, the company is preparing for a record-setting travel season. It expects around 300 million people to travel and host on its platform this year.

Airbnb Rooms is expected to offer a unique way for guests to stay with hosts at an affordable rate while experiencing the city like a local. The feature also includes a Host Passport, which showcases details about the host, including a larger photo, work history, education, social interaction, and much more.

The new category features more than one million listings of private bedrooms, while new privacy features indicate if a bedroom door has a lock and whether a bathroom is shared or private.

Additionally, guests can now view the total price, including fees and taxes, across the app's entire platform, including maps and search results, as well as redesigned wishlists, transparent checkout instructions, and improved maps.
