Yahoo is teaming up with Toyota for a multi-channel campaign titled “Says So Much” to promote the 2023 Toyota Crown, with an augmented reality experience to encourage eCommerce.
Research by Yahoo reveals that 80% of car shoppers are now open to purchasing a vehicle online. The Yahoo and Toyota partnership builds on this potential with an immersive digital experience.
An AR lens allows users to explore the 2023 Toyota Crown with a 360-degree walk around the vehicle and a virtual driving trial. It also provides potential buyers with “educational hotspots,” such as features of interest selected by Toyota and the most popular colour choices.
“Identifying innovative ways to bring our Digital marketing to life plays a crucial role in our campaign strategies, especially when introducing this new sedan. The Yahoo AR partnership, helps drivers discover the Toyota Crown in a meaningful and interactive way,” said Angie White, Senior Media Manager at Toyota Motor North America, in an official announcement.
The “Says So Much” campaign will also include TV activations, digital OOH advertising and banner displays.
