The website building platform has unveiled a major addition to its SEO suite.
Enter "AI Visibility Overview," a tool designed to help businesses understand and improve how they appear across large language model-based search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude.
The launch is part of Wix’s Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiative, a push to futureproof SEO practices for a world increasingly shaped by genAI.

The company says it’s the first content management system (CMS) to offer this level of native support for AI visibility.
“GEO is SEO for the AI era,” said Wix Head of Analytics Doreen Weissfelner.
“We are empowering users to bring AI search into focus by giving them information on how their sites are being cited, perceived and surfaced by leading AI platforms.”

The feature is integrated into Wix’s Business Analytics dashboard and available to users who have English as their default language setting.
More languages will be supported soon.

In addition, premium Wix eCommerce users can access "LLMs.txt," a tool designed to feed large language models richer product data, giving them a better shot at surfacing in AI-generated shopping results.
