Design continues to shape how brands communicate, guide users, and build trust across digital and physical experiences.
Each month, DesignRush recognizes standout creative work through its Design Awards, highlighting projects that demonstrate thoughtful execution and strong visual systems.
The winners span six categories: website, logo, print, app, packaging, and video, each showing how design decisions can simplify complex ideas while strengthening brand identity and presence.
Check out the March Design Award winners below.
Best Website Design: Codal

Codal developed the WellJoy website as a scalable eCommerce platform to help pet owners discover products with clarity and confidence.
The interface balances playful brand storytelling with structured navigation, using soft pastel color coding to help visitors quickly identify supplement categories while keeping browsing intuitive.
"Soothing color palette and engaging graphics mirror the compelling messaging," Andrea Owsinek-Brucker, an advertising agency owner and DesignRush juror, said.
Rounded card layouts and lifestyle photography of pets and owners create a friendly interface, with an interactive quiz that helps users find the right supplements more quickly.
Best Logo Design: Estúdio 017

Estúdio 017 designed a bold and industrial logo for Yuma, a construction company focused on efficiency, sustainability, and modern building technologies.
The logo uses a vibrant orange palette commonly associated with construction equipment and safety environments, immediately grounding the brand in its industry.
Stencil-inspired typography adds a sense of strength and precision, reflecting the reliability expected in construction services.
"Universally understandable, sublime and minimal, perfect for the company, their products and customers," Owsinek-Brucker shared.
Best Print Design: Flávia Jackeline Design

Designer Flávia Jackeline created a print-based identity system for Lugre Haus, a Brazilian renovation studio with a philosophy of thoughtful transformation.
The print materials rely on warm terracotta tones paired with soft neutral colors inspired by architectural materials to communicate craftsmanship and authenticity.
Typography remains refined and minimal, balancing contemporary design with a timeless quality.
“I appreciated the varied use of uppercase and lowercase typography, the open space, and the design’s breathability,” CEO and creative director Brett Jefferson Stott commented as a DesignRush juror.
Geometric layouts and curved shapes reference architectural forms, while photography highlights textures, interiors, and materials connected to real renovation projects.
Best App Design: Dasha Wagner

Dasha Wagner designed the AVEDA VM Guide, a mobile app created to help store managers and salon owners maintain consistent visual merchandising standards.
The app translates Aveda’s retail guidelines into a structured digital system that teams can access across global markets.
Aveda’s signature green palette anchors the interface, maintaining a calm and professional look using clean typography and clear visual hierarchy.
The interface uses card-based layouts and modular components to organize display guides, product information, and ordering tools into clear sections.
“Pretty visuals offer an engaging environment, clear actions and prompts entice the user to interaction,” Owsinek-Brucker pointed out.
Best Packaging Design: Ata Berkol

Designer Ata Berkol created a minimalist system for Résidée, establishing the brand's position within the modern luxury wellness space.
The packaging design features botanical illustrations and earth-toned palettes with dark glass containers to highlight plant-based ingredients and maintain visual consistency.
A high-contrast serif typeface introduces an editorial tone, while vertical label layouts and generous spacing keep the overall composition refined.
“Lovely, elegant brand. Everything feels really considered, and it all marries up beautifully across the range,” Kitty Lai, a founder and creative director, commented.
Small details such as terrazzo-style textures and fine-line illustrations add depth while preserving the design’s minimalist approach.
Best Video Design: Dan French
Director Dan French created "Minecraft — Shape Your World," a commercial that connects real-world experiences with the creative universe of the game.
The film combines live-action environments with Minecraft’s signature block-based aesthetic, showing how imagination can bridge reality and gameplay.
Cinematic color grading, together with surreal transitions and visual effects, gives the film a consistent tone across scenes.
“Wow, this piece had it all. A fun story. Professional execution. And it ‘sold’ Minecraft without having to really sell it,” Wienot Films Founder and Creative Director Marc Strong shared as a juror.
The contrast between real environments and block-based structures highlights that players can build and reshape their world through creativity.
Design continues to influence how brands communicate and connect with audiences.
The March Design Award winners demonstrate how thoughtful visual systems, strong storytelling, and clear functionality can translate to meaningful brand experiences.
DesignRush will continue highlighting creative work that pushes design forward across industries and platforms.
