Beer company Coors Light, in partnership with creative agency Rethink, is helping fans rescue lackluster holiday gifts with its new “Beer Bows.”
Available exclusively on December 4 to 6 and December 9 to 10, these festive accessories unlock surprise gift bundles filled with Coors Light merch and gift cards for a post-holiday beer hangout.
Adding a cool twist to holiday shopping, each $15 Beer Bow includes a unique QR code that grants recipients access to Coors Light-branded merchandise and a gift card for a round of drinks.
Marcelo Pascoa, VP of marketing at Coors Family of Brands, shared with DesignRush how the Coors Beer Bows can help relieve the stress of holiday shopping:
“Let’s face it — many of us are bad at giving gifts. Whether you ran out of time, or simply didn’t know what to get — we’ve all been in a place where we wish we got something better.
Beer Bows bring the chill back to gift giving — now that ugly pair of socks can be replaced with Coors Light merch and a gift card to enjoy a round on us.”

The bows, available in limited quantities at shop.coorslight.com, are sold in daily drops at noon CT.
Orders placed by December 15 are expected to arrive by Christmas, making them a perfect last-minute addition to any holiday haul.
Strong holiday marketing campaigns like this help brands connect with consumers in memorable and festive ways, driving both engagement and sales.
Brands stand to gain more when partnering with experienced creative agencies like Rethink, ensuring uniqueness in marketing initiatives to maximize awareness and reach.
Put a Bow On It
Coors Light Beer Bows are part of a bigger holiday initiative that includes festive merchandise like Rocky Mountain-inspired cookie cutters and beer bottle ornaments.
The campaign also features an 80s-style video showcasing hilariously bad gifts, aligning with the brand’s focus on celebrating life’s moments while connecting with the Coors Light experience.
For those seeking extra holiday cheer, the Coors Light shop also features a new collection of seasonal merchandise.

Coors Light has always been known for its attention-grabbing marketing initiatives.
Previously, the brand launched a commemorative campaign inspired by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson's "Coors Light!" in-game call.
