Apple Reveals WWDC 2023 Program Schedule

Apple just revealed the full program and schedule of its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) event, taking place in Apple Park from June 5 through June 9.  

It starts with the highly anticipated Apple Keynote happening at 10 a.m. on June 5 PDT. Here, the tech giant usually unveils its biggest product, innovation, and service announcements.  

Along with its flagship iPhone and Mac products, many speculate Apple will finally reveal “Reality Pro,” its first mixed reality headset, which is expected to drop this fall. 

Following the Keynote is the Platforms State of the Union, happening on the same day at 1:30 p.m., PDT. During this portion, developers can learn more about what’s coming to Apple’s slate of services, tools, and apps based on the keynote. The Platforms State of the Union can be streamed through the Apple Developer app and website.  

The Apple Design Awards takes place right after this, happening at 6:30p.m., PDT. It’s the segment of the conference where Apple celebrates and awards its developer community and the apps they create. This can also be streamed through the Apple Developer app and website.  

While that wraps up the first day, Apple has prepared more programs catering to software developers, app developers, engineers and designers in the week-long event. 

Starting June 6, the company will be uploading 175 in-depth session videos that will be posted on the Apple Developer app and website. These videos will give developers an inside scoop on the company’s new products and software, as well as the chance to have one-on-one online lab sessions with Apple experts.   

Additionally, Apple’s in-house engineers and designers will also host activities all week via Slack, which will serve as Q&A segments for developers and the community. 

With the inevitable Apple Reality Pro VR announcement, many believe this will be the company’s biggest WWDC in years. Alongside this, rumors have circulated that Apple will also be coming out with its first 15-inch Macbook Air.
