- Show confidence and source info with every AI suggestion so humans can judge risk quickly.
- Keep live signals and interventions in one place so everyone stays on the same page.
- Make sure someone takes ownership of model performance, data quality, incident response, and prompt/instruction updates.
- Test for edge cases regularly. Cultural nuance, regional policy differences, and novel complaint types are exactly where AI is weakest and where human review matters most.
Mide-Ajala believes strong guardrails are what make automation work:
