“Fresh Off the Boat” father-and-son duo Randall Park and Hudson Yang shared their opposing opinions of which Big Mac you should try first in the latest spot from McDonald’s.
The two actors reunited for the first time since the sitcom ended its six-season run in 2020 to promote the original Big Mac and the new Chicken Big Mac.
The new McDonald's commercial follows a previous collaboration with online personality Kai Cenat to promote the launch of the latest iteration of the beloved Big Mac on October 3.

Tariq Hassan, chief marketing and customer experience officer at McDonald’s USA, shared more about the campaign in a press release:
“By tapping into some of our fans’ biggest passions from dupe culture to live-streaming, we’re able to serve up more than just a sandwich.
There truly is something for everyone to enjoy in this campaign and we’re bringing experiences that will surprise and delight them, all before the Chicken Big Mac hits restaurants.”
On October 13, actor and professional wrestler John Cena and online streamer Fanum joined Cenat on a Twitch livestream for their first bites of the "Not-Not a Big Mac."
Which One Should You Try First?
The latest spot opens with a customer looking at the McDonald’s menu in one of its many locations, expressing confusion about the “two Big Mac burgers.”
Park pops into the frame, saying, “If you’re gonna try your first Big Mac, you’ve gotta go with the original.”
Yang then chimes in with a counter-argument: “Nah, if you’re gonna try something new, go with the new chicken Big Mac.”
He then proceeds to describe the burger’s ingredients when Park joins in, matching his every word.
The two then start arguing about who is copying who, using the same words at the same time, when the McDonald’s employee asks the customer what he’ll choose — the Big Mac, or the Chicken Big Mac.
The customer responds with a simple “yes," while Park and Yang continue to eat their respective burgers and fight about whose burger is more delicious.
McDonald’s has been busy this month, even announcing the return of the McRib in the U.K. after a 10-year hiatus. The menu item was teased in its "McRib Returns?" campaign, helmed by global ad agency Leo Burnett.
