McDonald’s Teams Up With Kai Cenat for the New Chicken Big Mac

Fast-food giant McDonald's has partnered with popular streamer and online personality Kai Cenat for a special limited-edition offering. 

This is none other than the "Chicken Big Mac," a new menu item that takes the restaurant's world-famous Big Mac and gives it a poultry twist. 

To promote the special burger, Cenat and his friends went on stream to debut the item, giving their honest reactions to it. 

Here, the streamer is seen buying the sandwich through a McDonald's drive-thru, before his friend Fanum barges into his room and brings an entire marching band with him.

To everyone's surprise, they even brought in Grimace, the fast-food chain's mascot that went viral last year.

Alongside the dancing, the marching, and the reactions came an announcement of the burger dropping yesterday, October 10. 

Hassan continued, saying that by tapping into its fans' dupe culture and live-streaming, McDonald's was able to "serve up more than just a sandwich," as there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Streamers have undoubtedly skyrocketed in popularity in recent years.

Leveraging the reach and comedic charm of streamers like Cenat, the Golden Arches has made itself an influencer marketing campaign that's one for the books.

Cenat In Action

Apart from the streams, McDonald's launched a new 30-second spot starring Cenat as he pulls up on a McDonald's drive-thru.

"Can I please get a —" the streamer says before he's interrupted by a choir sitting in his backseat.

"What I need from you is a Chicken Big Mac," they all sing to him.

Having never heard of a Chicken Big Mac before, Cenat doubts the choir, but they prove him wrong when he spots the menu board highlighting the new offering, which is "not a Big Mac."

In a trippy dream sequence, Cenat finds himself surrounded by floating burgers, his streams with Grimace, all as the choir sings the Chicken Big Mac's ingredients.

Back in the car, he contemplates getting it. But before he even orders, he's again surprised by the choir — now behind the takeout window — handing him a paper bag of the Chicken Big Mac.

Last August, McDonald's launched a campaign celebrating the return of its nostalgic collectible plastic cups.
