Amazon Business just gave a childhood tongue twister a modern entrepreneurial twist, with Peter Piper trading pickled peppers for nationwide profit.

In the newest spot from Amazon Business’ long-running folklore-inspired campaign, the brand reintroduces Piper not as a nursery rhyme figure, but as a sharp business owner with a vision.

Backed by the platform’s tools and support, he builds “Peter’s Piping Hot Peppers” from a modest patch into a retail empire.

The film, created by London-based independent agency Joint, continues the Amazon Business tradition of reimagining famous cultural figures.

Each installment gives the hero a surprisingly practical transformation, all with Amazon Business at the center.

“This is the campaign that keeps on giving,” said Algy Sharman, CCO at Joint.

“Rome, Da Vinci, pirates, Bo Peep and now Peter Piper. All epic stories, beautifully told.”

This campaign is another example of how strong agency-brand relationships can keep a concept feeling fresh.

When creatives go beyond short-term gimmicks and build a world, audiences follow.

Peter Piper Picked What? 

Set to Run D.M.C.’s 1986 track "Peter Piper," the ad is full of tongue-in-cheek brand storytelling, taking the classic rhyme and flipping it into a hip-hop-infused growth journey.

The spot opens to a humble greenhouse and ends with Peter overseeing an expansive operation, complete with factory workers, retail shelves, and shipping trucks marked with Peter's cheeky logo.

What makes it more entertaining is how Peter, always in his signature overalls, stays calm and collected while his business rapidly scales.

He enjoys the fruits of his labor and opens a physical shop, guests on talk shows, and even launches his own Peter Piper Peppers TV commercial. 

Directed by the collective Traktor via production house Stink, the film is a simple, humorous way to explain product benefits without it feeling like a pitch.

It joins previous campaign entries that include Bo Peep running a sheep-wrangling logistics business and Da Vinci using Amazon Business tools to expand his creative empire.

Each ad plays like a short film, with a clear narrative and payoff, making the campaign enjoyable even if you’ve never heard of the product.

I truly believe no one is doing B2B marketing like Amazon Business.

The whimsical nursery storytelling sets it apart from other business platforms, opting for a more comedic and uplifting direction as opposed to your typical jargon-filled business ads. 

Overall, the playful addition to the ongoing campaign reminds us again of Amazon's long-standing message to entrepreneurs: your small business can think bigger with the right partner.
