In time for summer, Old Mout Cider just launched a stylish new animated campaign that takes viewers to the land of "Moutopia."
An artistic 30-second spot sees the brand's very own mascot "Kiwi" bring people to a colorful island of fruits.
It kickstarts with the bird swinging from an Old Mout Cider bottle down to a pineapple-shaped island. Locals here then invite those from Raspberry Island to hang out and create a bridge out of a pineapple slice to connect the two lands.
Meanwhile, Kiwi jetskis the island of cherries, dropping a trail of blueberries in the sea to create a bridge for its people.
With all the islands now connected, everyone gets together to celebrate the wonderful flavors of Old Mout Cider.
The spot ends with each island forming three Old Mout Cider bottles representing each of the brand's unique flavors:
- Pineapple & Raspberry
- Berries & Cherries
- Kiwi & Lime
Bringing the Flavor with St.Luke's
Made with the St.Luke's agency, the spot from the brand's owner Heineken International introduces a catchy new soundtrack explaining that the joy of a fruit bowl isn't in one fruit alone – just like how people don't belong on their own.
"If you’re sweet like a berry or sharp like a lime it’s all in the blend and the way we combine… Welcome to Moutopia. A place where everyone can live side by cider," it sings.
Commenting on the campaign, St.Luke's Chief Creative Officer Alan Young shared his thought process behind these lyrics:
"Inside every bottle of Old Mout, delicious natural fruits come together in perfect harmony, so we aimed to celebrate Old Mout’s natural, blended fruit flavors by showing how people, no matter how different, can blend and mix just as perfectly."
