TV broadcast company NBC is launching a new immersive experience that gives fans the chance to know what it's like to host the famous late-night show Saturday Night Live (SNL).
Developed together with NVE Experience Agency, "Live from New York: The SNL Experience" is the company's way of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the show with its fans.
It is a Studio-8H-inspired event taking place at the Rockefeller Center at the heart of New York, which fans can visit and host on a backdrop of different sets featured in the comedy series.
"From the thrill of hearing your name announced as you burst through the stage doors to rolling your chair up to the Weekend Update desk, every attendee will experience both the on-camera magic and off-camera rush of SNL," NVE shared in a press release.

The special event will also come with loads of surprises and callbacks that "celebrate 50 years of famed sketches and the signature spontaneous nature that's defined the series since 1975."
It will be a walking experience that will last between 20 to 30 minutes, with no seats available.
"Live from New York: The SNL Experience" will officially run from Thursday, January 30, until Sunday, February 2.
Fans can head to SNL's dedicated microsite to secure a spot at the event, which they can reserve for free.
All Out on Year 50
Apart from "The SNL50 Experience," NBC will kick off SNL's 50th anniversary with a four-part docuseries titled "SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night," which comes out January 16 on Peacock.
Directed by Morgan Neville, it will cover the untold stories of the iconic show, shining the spotlight on its turbulent years, the events that unfold behind the writer's room, and the memorable experiences of its cast members.
To up the ante, a documentary special from American record producer Questlove and Director Oz Rodriguez, titled "Ladies & Gentlemen … 50 Years of SNL Music," will also premiere on January 27.
SNL will also have a three-hour special episode live from Studio 8H to celebrate its 50 years, featuring a wide variety of celebrities that are sure to come as a treat to fans both old and new.
Celebrating the golden anniversary of one of the world's most popular shows may seem like an easy task, but capturing its legacy is no easy feat.
With a live experience, two documentaries, and a special three-hour episode set to air, NBC's brand marketing strategy ensures its efforts live up to the late-night show's glory.
Previously, director Mike Diva shared his experiences with DesignRush in making the new opening billboard (OBB) of SNL's 50th season.
