Bicycle brand Canyon tapped NBA phenom LeBron James feature in its latest inspirational campaign.
At the heart of "Find Your Freedom" is an 80-second spot that sees James star with other Canyon athletes Samantha Soriano, Andrew Jackson, Olivia Silva, Fabio Wibmer, and current road cycling world champion Mathieu van der Poel.
The goal of the initiative in banding together these top athletes is to inspire its communities and fans by showing them how riding can be the gateway to connections, better well-being, and the realization of dreams.

In a press release, James gets candid on the impact riding has had on his life.
"When I was growing up, it was how I got around — from riding with friends across the city to getting to practice and wherever I needed to be. It gave me the freedom to not only get to places, but to access things that otherwise would have been out of reach," he shared.
"Even now, riding a bike makes me feel like a kid again. There’s nothing like feeling the air on your face and that freedom to just ride," James added.
With James' inspiring mindset towards riding, Canyon decided to team up with the star, sharing and believing in the same values.
At the same time, partnering with the basketball legend allows the brand a wider audience reach due to his global celebrity status.
Bikes for a Cause
This latest initiative stretches far beyond an inspirational short film.
As part of Canyon and James' partnership, the brand will donate Grand Canyon Young Heroes bikes to the "I PROMISE" Program of the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF).
These bikes will directly go to the program's students by the end of their academic year, following the foundation's "earned, not given" philosophy.

The Los Angeles Lakers star shared that it has always been a staple for his program to provide bikes, knowing how it personally opened his doors and got him to places.
The campaign is hitting two birds with one stone, not only leveraging James' affinity for riding but also championing his cause.
This strategy enables Canyon to build a positive brand identity that will endear itself to consumers, on top of spreading awareness for its products and what they stand for.
Riding to Freedom
The advert kickstarts with a spotlight shined on James as he sits on the front porch of a house.
"When you're young, the end of the block might as well be a different planet. But with every new street, my world gets bigger and bigger," the star narrates.
James, together with Silva, then bike through dark roads, with nothing but an overhead spotlight guiding them on their path.

As the two get farther and farther from their starting point, they're then joined by Canyon's other athletes as they go through dirt roads, cliffs, and other scenic places.
"FIND YOUR FREEDOM," the screen writes, as the spot ends.
Several months back, Vaseline also launched an initiative that involved popular gamers deleting their character skins to increase awareness about the need for skin donors.
