Fox Corporation's ad-supported streaming service Tubi is showing no signs of slowing down following the launch of Stubios earlier in May.
Now, the fan-fueled incubation studio program, which aims to provide a new avenue for aspiring filmmakers to showcase their talents, has launched four new projects on the platform.
The platform was created in partnership with Issa Rae's ColorCreative, and the actress spoke about how fulfilling it was to mentor the group of Stubios runners in a press release:
"I love being involved in the development process. Resources matter, and between myself, Tubi and the team at ColorCreative, we're thrilled to support these talented creators and, hopefully, fast track their careers."

The four existing projects will be joined by a selection of 14 finalists from an application pool that went live this Spring.
One finalist will be chosen on the Stubios app, where fans can vote for their favorite by engaging with posts.
The project that reaches 15,000 engagements first, or the most engagements within three weeks, will receive a green light.
The roster of finalists contains a diverse range of projects, ranging from a raunchy teen comedy to a horror film that takes place during a glamping trip.

Tubi CMO Nicole Parlapiano said the new batch of applicants demonstrates the future of collaborative long-form content.
She also highlighted that the program's first sponsor, PepsiCo's Starry will feature in one of the four currently greenlit projects.
"Tubi is committed to nurturing creativity and enhancing diverse representation in a historically difficult industry to break into.
We believe in breaking down barriers, encouraging self-expression, and actively listening to our viewers — and Stubios is a direct reflection of that dedication," Parlapiano told DesignRush.

According to data shared by the platform, a large portion of its viewers watch Tubi Originals, the brand's premium programming, which includes shows like "Wynonna Earp: Vengeance" and "The Z-Suite."
Tubi is currently the most-watched free TV and movie streaming service in the U.S., with a total of over 81 million active monthly users.
With over 200,000 TV episodes and movies, the streaming platform is one of the best free streaming websites available right now.

Finally, a comedy special titled "Joke's on Us: New Voices in Comedy" will air on December 5, featuring new 15-minute sets from upcoming comedians including Cris Sosa, Daniela Mora, and Grant Moore.
Earlier in May, Tubi launched a witty campaign that hilariously pitted its massive popularity against babies and water fountains.
