British department store giant Debenhams has launched a new campaign starring a star-studded cast to welcome the holidays.
Made together with creative communications agency Exposure, "Duh, Debenhams," sees actress Elizabeth Hurley, comedian Ellie Taylor, host Leomie Anderson, and model Hannah Cooper-Dommett touting the department store as the solution to everyone's holiday dilemmas.
Whatever the challenge, may it be holiday shopping on a rainy day, being overloaded with multiple shopping websites, or waiting in line forever, there can only be one answer: "Duh, Debenhams."
Through lighthearted humor and familiar faces, the campaign aims to position Debenham's online shopping portal as the one-stop shop to buy all your shopping needs.

Notably, Debenhams also showcases the wide variety of items customers can buy from its platform, including Estée Lauder and YSL beauty products, to name a few.
"'Duh, Debenhams’ flips the script on festive shopping chaos and boldly establishes us as the ultimate answer for a stress-free Christmas shopping experience.
Our iconic British cast delivers ‘Duh, Debenhams’ in a classic yet humorous style. As home to a community of c. 10k brands catering for every taste and generation, we’re reminding customers just how effortless shopping can be at Debenhams.com," Debenhams CEO Dan Finley shared in a statement.
The campaign also includes the department store's "biggest giveaway ever" with £5,000 up for grabs.
The commercial is set to air on TV, video, out-of-home (OOH), digital, and social media.
With a stellar cast familiar to the British audience, Debenhams is sure to spark conversation among its audiences this holiday season with a brand marketing strategy that brings awareness and recall.
There Can Only Be One Answer
Set to a rendition of "Carol of the Bells," the 30-second advert starts with a woman standing in the middle of the rain, with her multiple shopping bags getting wet and giving out.
"Why does Christmas have to be so hard?" she shouts to the heavens.
Hurley then responds to her question with "Duh, Debenhams," holding up the Debenhams eCommerce platform and showing off the Esteé Lauder gift option she selected.

We then see other shoppers experiencing holiday woes, with one overwhelmed with the number of websites he has to check out from.
A floating Taylor is then seen in her living room, peacefully responding to his qualm with "Duh, Debenhams."
Finally, a man ages drastically as he waits in line to buy a pair of socks. Anderson responds in the same way, utilizing the shopping platform to make holiday tasks easier and less time-consuming.
The spot ends with all the stars standing in one line, as the logo appears onscreen.
Meanwhile, retailer Neiman Marcus recently welcomed the holiday season with a whimsical campaign.
