Up-and-coming hot sauce brand Burn/Bond has finally entered the market, celebrating its launch with a fiery new campaign from media production agency 1stAveMachine.
Directed by the agency's duo Bounty Banana, the campaign is marked by a spot where two hot sauce enthusiasts face off to see who can withstand the ultimate spice that Burn/Bond brings to the table.
Here, the contenders go on a journey through hell and back, taking viewers on a visual trip filled with flames, high-speed motorcycle chases, and pixelated demons.

The directing duo, known for their unconventional style, utilizes hybrid images, 2D and 3D animations, AI, and mixed media to create a film full of verve and whimsy.
"As we are both mixed-cultured, we both have a part of our family that can handle serious heat, and the other that fears the challenge when it comes to the table. With this sauce, we wanted to have something that could bring people together on a fun and tasteful ride," shared Steven Briand, one half of Bounty Banana.
Meanwhile, Julien Jourdain, who co-directed with Briand, reinforced his sentiments and dedicated their film to their daughters, as it's now their "time to pass on the torch."
Burn/Bond began as a homemade hot sauce from the duo, sold in batches or gifted to their friends. Now, the two plan to expand it with a limited batch coming soon.
With captivating visuals and fast-paced sequences, the spot is a show of Burn/Bond's bold and vibrant brand identity.
Not only that, it also serves as a solid display of the duo's directing prowess, getting viewers hyped up to try Burn/Bond hot sauce for themselves.
It's also a great example of how ad agencies can bring creative ideas to fruition through effective storytelling and execution.
A Fiery Showdown
The nearly two-minute spot kickstarts with a man and a woman facing off at the dinner table, with a plate of fried chicken and a bottle of Burn/Bond in front of them.
The man then taunts the woman and pours dollops of the sauce over the chicken.
As she takes a bite, she gets glimpses of what looks like an animated hell filled with fire, smoke, and endless peril.
The man goes next, and he is then transported to a high-speed motorcycle chase between him and a demon.

Viewers then witness fast-paced sequences of pixelated flames, devil icons, and a skull model of the man breaking into pieces.
Amidst screams, the two are teleported into a serene landscape, where they confront each other and hug it out.
The spot ends with the man and woman back at the dinner table, having a conversation over fried chicken.
"Dip your ego through 9 layers of hell," the screen reads, as the commercial concludes.
Previously, Wix and 1stAveMachine also teamed up to launch a campaign focusing on entrepreneurs.
