Aviation Gin x Wrexham: Key Findings
Quick listen: How Aviation American Gin bottled Wrexham’s rise — in under 2 minutes.
Aviation Gin is putting Wrexham AFC’s rise on the shelf with a limited-edition commemorative pack.
The release celebrates the club’s third consecutive promotion and its return to the Championship, a milestone that’s as much about resilience as it is about football history.
A longtime supporter of Wrexham, Aviation leaned on that shared spirit in the bottle and packaging design.
“Wrexham AFC has defied the odds and built a global fanbase through persistence, passion, and community,” said Ricky Collett, Global Brand Director for Aviation American Gin.
“As a partner that’s been with the team every step of the way, we’re proud to raise a glass to this new chapter and bottle the glory.”
The 750mL bottle reimagines Aviation’s signature design with Wrexham-inspired details.
These include a patch-style crest, a bold red neck stamp paying homage to the Turf Pub, and packaging that draws from the club’s promotion-winning jerseys.
Each pack will also come with a scarf and a QR code unlocking sweepstakes access and exclusive content.
The gin inside remains the same crisp, smooth spirit the brand is known for.
To up the ante, Aviation created four signature cocktails tied to the collaboration:
- Negroni By The Turf
- All Or Nothing Bloody Mary
- Up The Town Fizz
- Dirty Dragon

To promote the kit, American actor Ryan Reynolds created a video showing off what the limited-edition box contains.
Of course, in his own signature "Reynolds" way.

Beyond the bottle, Aviation is giving fans a chance to connect with Wrexham on a deeper level.
One winner and a guest will be flown to Wales for a home match, complete with premium tickets, a stadium tour, a stop at the Turf Pub, and a full stay in Wrexham.
The pack officially went live last August 19 at retailers nationwide, online, and at the brand’s Portland distillery.
Priced the same as Aviation’s standard bottle, the commemorative release doubles as both a collector’s item and a practical pour for matchday toasts.
With the launch, Aviation not only ties itself more closely to Wrexham’s story but also highlights how a well-timed brand partnership can extend beyond the pitch.
Fans can choose to keep the pack sealed or mix up a signature cocktail. It's a free-for-all on how you want to celebrate the club's success.
Our Take: Can A Bottle Capture A Legacy?
Sports and spirit collabs are nothing new, but they happen for good reason.
From the Turf Pub reference to the scarf tucked in the pack, the new kit from Aviation and Wrexham feels more like a community tribute than a marketing gimmick.
It’s a clever way to give fans a keepsake that’s both celebratory and collectible, proving that intention can matter as much as product.
In other news, Carhartt recently leaned on storytelling of its own with the "Made Possible" campaign honoring the grit and resilience of American workers.
