Louis Vuitton is combining traditional values and digital innovation with its second entrance into the metaverse and the world of Web3.
The luxury French fashion house released a capsule of digital collectibles titled “VIA Treasure Trunk,” which includes phydigital NFTs inspired by Louis Vuitton’s classic printed travel cases.
Each NFT token is priced at over $41,000 and will be a Soulbound NFT, which means that the tokens cannot to be sold or given to anyone else.

VIA Treasure Trunk owners will have access to digital keys that will unlock more Louis Vuitton phydigital NFT collections and in-real-life events accessible only to VIA holders “at regular intervals” throughout the year.
The release of the VIA Treasure Trunks follows the luxury fashion brand’s introduction into the metaverse in 2021 with “Louis the Game.”
The game invites players on an interactive adventure to learn more about the company’s rich history and winning players were awarded 30 unique digital postcards.
The VIA Treasure Trunk collection proves Louis Vuitton’s long-term investment in VR and augmented reality and its ongoing journey in integrating the physical and digital aspects of the luxury fashion brand.
