World-famous rapper Wiz Khalifa and world champion surfer-songwriter Makua Rothman have joined forces with air sanitizer brand Ozium to release "Clear the Air," a new single and music video.
Developed in collaboration with independent creative agency Madwell, the song aims to break down cannabis stigma while celebrating music, surfing, and car culture.
The song includes lyrics such as "Spraying Ozium on to cover up the kush scent" and "If you don't want the smoke, then you better clear the air," reinforcing its theme and tying into the brand’s message.

For over 50 years, Ozium has been a trusted air care brand, initially designed to reduce airborne bacteria rather than just mask odors.
In that time frame, the Niteo-owned brand became a staple among cannabis enthusiasts and a fixture in hip-hop culture, with over 50 lyrical shoutouts — including one from Wiz Khalifa himself.

In a press release, Wiz Khalifa emphasized his long-standing relationship with the brand.
"Clearing the air isn't just about smoke — it's about energy, good vibes, and keeping things fresh. I've been rocking with Ozium forever, so this just made sense."
Meanwhile, Rothman shared how Ozium's presence in his life has evolved, clearing the air for different purposes.
"Back in the day, when we were considered 'bad boys,' our routine was surf, sing, smoke, repeat. Ozium was always there to clear the air. Now, as a dad, I'm using it for a whole new reason — to get rid of all the crazy kid smells in my house!"
Niteo Products CEO John Rabenhost also chimed in, emphasizing how the two celebrities "embody the brand's deep-rooted connection to music, lifestyle, and self-expression."
Ozium taps into an influencer partnership the right way — by embracing the culture that already loves it.
Partnering with Wiz Khalifa and Makua Rothman makes the brand feel authentic, which encourages brand loyalty among fans.

"Clear the Air" also features a sweepstakes for exclusive merchandise.
The highlight is a one-of-one custom jewelry piece designed by If & Co., the renowned jeweler behind some of hip-hop’s most iconic pieces.

Wiz Khalifa even wears a one-of-a-kind Ozium bracelet in the music video, which is now available to stream on official channels.
The vibrant music video comes to life with visuals of car culture, surf scenes, and studio sessions.
Meanwhile, the track itself can be found across major streaming platforms.

That same month, NYX Professional Makeup created its first-ever NYXTAPE, a compilation of five exclusive tracks performed by five independent female artists.
