Telecommunications company O2, together with creative agency VCCP London, just launched a new campaign with Albanian pop star Dua Lipa.
The new one-minute spot, simply titled "Dua Lipa at Wembley Stadium" takes cues from O2's previous "Walk" ad that featured big names like Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé.
Notably, it's also the first "Walk" ad the service provider has aired in six years.
The latest from O2 and Virgin Media aims to promote the artist's upcoming show at Wembley Stadium, as well as provide fans the chance to snag Priority Tickets 48 hours before its general release.
Gareth Griffiths, director of partnership and sponsorship at Virgin Media, says that the new collaboration perfectly captures the essence of its service Priority.
It follows the success of its previous Priority Ticket stints, breaking records with 1.4 million tickets sold in 2023 (15% increase from 2022), alongside a slate of successful Priority gigs exclusive to its customers.
Priority gave customers access to over 6,000 shows and 2,000 artists in more than 300 venues in the U.K. in 2023 alone.
A Tried and Tested Formula
Banking on a formula that is known to produce results, O2 and Virgin Media further enhanced it with the revival of the brand's iconic "Walk" campaign.
This time around, O2 anticipates that Dua Lipa's Priority pre-sale will be its most in-demand one for years.
"Giving our customers early access to the very best and most exciting gigs is what makes Priority from O2 so special," Griffiths added.

And there was no better way to celebrate its momentous feats than with an exciting new ad featuring "the biggest British pop star on the planet."
The "Cold Heart" singer expressed her gratitude, saying, "I am still flying high from the magic of headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this weekend, and I am absolutely thrilled to announce I’ll be playing Wembley Stadium this time next year.”
Fans can access Priority pre-sale tickets to Dua Lipa's Wembley Stadium show next year by heading to the Priority app and website starting July 10.
Walking with Dua Lipa
The short commercial kicks off by the beach, where the pop star is seen relaxing while reading a book.
Not long after, she grabs her shoes, gets up, and begins walking, instantly catching beach-goers' attention.
Set to her hit song "Houdini," passers-by begin to pause at the sight of her, following her around the city as she arrives backstage at the Wembley Stadium.

Lipa is then greeted by a roaring concert crowd ready to experience her music.
"[What] better way to celebrate her upcoming UK tour than bringing a glimmer of the Great British Seaside to it, complete with Mr Whippy, Pearly Kings, a chippy and an arcade. It's showtime," Simon Connor, creative director at VCCP London concludes.
