Toyota has teamed up once again with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy for a hilarious spot that sees the star poofing into fans' living rooms.
Made together with full-service advertising agency H/L, "Weekend Plans" shows how a devoted 49er daydreams about her weekend plans.
An ordinary folk's "staying in" might involve slowing down and relaxing within the comforts of their own home. But for 49ers fans, it means picking jerseys, enjoying a game day with a bowl of chips, and screaming their hearts out to a thrilling match-up.
The spot captures this level of devotion perfectly, and even gives us glimpses of the NFL star popping in and out of the fan's daydreams.
It also draws comparisons between Purdy's dedication to the fan base and Toyota's dedication to creating top-class products.

H/L VP and the campaign ECD Dallas Baker expounds on the idea behind the campaign, and how its goal is to "strengthen Toyota's longstanding bond with fans."
"It's a high-five with our fellow 49ers' Faithful, authentically declaring that NorCal Toyota dealers are Faithful, too. We have one more spot coming out later this season, too, and we can’t wait for fans to see what we have in store for them," Baker adds.
This is the latest from H/L and Toyota among a string of spots it launched starring the famous quarterback.
It harps on celebrity and influencer marketing not only to connect better with its audience and NFL fans, but also to expand its reach with the ever-growing fanbase of the NFL and 49ers.
How Do You Game Day?
The 30-second spot kickstarts with our protagonist and her officemate asking her about her weekend plans.
Thoughts then race to her head, envisioning how her weekend will be spent: unloading the Toyota Camry, choosing Jerseys for game day, getting the grill on and enjoying a bowl of nachos, yelling at the refs, and watching Purdy do his thing.
However, instead of detailing all of this with her friend, she chooses to simply tell her that she'll just be "staying in."

Throughout the spot, Purdy poofs onto the screen and interacts with the 49ers fan, hyping her up and accompanying her during her game-day rituals.
The advert ends with Toyota announcing itself as a proud partner of the San Francisco 49ers.
Previously, Toyota and H/L worked on a campaign celebrating Olympic athletes.
