Taco Bell Canada is getting into the Halloween spirit with its new campaign, "Taco Boo's".

Created under the creative directive of Courage Inc., the campaign shows iconic Taco Bell tortillas adorned with eerie ghost faces created by artfully arranged char marks.

Tapping into the psychological phenomenon of pareidolia, where the brain perceives familiar shapes and patterns in random objects, the set of billboards puts a creepy spin on a beloved food item.

Taco Bell Canada Marketing Head Meera Patel noted the "Taco Boo’s" campaign is all about amplifying the late-night snacking experience. 

"Our 'Taco Boo's' campaign not only embraces the festive spirit but also reinforces our role as the ultimate destination for night owls looking to indulge in something delightfully spooky."

The campaign will run from October 31 to November 3 across localized digital OOH billboards in Toronto and the brand's social media channels.

With its unique concept and creative execution, the campaign is a perfect example of a Halloween poster ad done right.
