MSC Cruises has revealed that Orlando Bloom and Drew Barrymore will headline its first-ever Super Bowl commercial, showcasing the brand’s new flagship, the MSC World America, its largest ship yet.
Produced by award-winning advertising agency Highdive, it offers a glimpse into the exclusive experiences that MSC World America has to offer, such as its private island destination, the Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
MSC World America, set to depart from PortMiami on April 9, is poised to elevate the cruise industry with its blend of European elegance and American-friendly amenities.

Suzanne Salas, EVP of MSC Cruises USA, shared that the fun dynamic between Bloom and Barrymore is a great representation of MSC World America.
Barrymore has also expressed her excitement about working with MSC Cruises:

The ship will offer seven-night cruises to the Caribbean and will be the largest ship serving the North American market.
This marks a major milestone as MSC Cruises extends its presence in the U.S., with additional cruises launching from Galveston, Texas in the future and Alaska cruises debuting in 2026.
MSC Cruises’ expansion continues with the highly anticipated launch of MSC World America, further cementing the brand’s commitment to providing enriching experiences at sea.

The MSC Cruises teaser begins with Barrymore seated at a piano, enthusiastically singing an off-key rendition of "It's a Holiday."
Leaning casually against the piano, Orlando Bloom listens with a bemused expression.
When Drew finishes, she asks, “Was it good?”
Orlando shrugs and responds, “Not great.” Drew nods in agreement, replying, “Yeah, fair.”
The scene transitions to the MSC Cruises logo, accompanied by the release date for the full ad: February 9, 2025.
