Steve Madden has just launched its global campaign for its Fall 2024 collection.

Titled "Never Miss a Beat," the loud and proud ad directed by Steven Brahms is an ode to the brand's roots in New York City.

The campaign highlights unique personalities and special moments, celebrating aspects of the different rich cultures that make up the city.

It stars several mainstays of the Big Apple, including:

  • drag queen Lady Bunny
  • creative director Mickey Boardman

  • fashion icon "The Green Lady"
  • fashion journalist Lynn Yaeger

The campaign also features a cameo by viral content creator @dudewithsign, who gained notoriety for holding up hundreds of humorous signs around the city.

It showcases a wide range of Steve Madden styles, which are now available on the designer's website.

Steve Madden is one of the biggest names in the designer shoe industry.

With an iconic brand identity and a storied history, the company has made big strides to recapture its former glory.

By putting its own mark on in-demand shoe brand designs and capitalizing on the retro trend, it's poised to widen its market reach with style and innovation.

New York Groove

The upbeat dance video opens with a shot of a skater dressed in a shiny silver pair of Steve Madden shoes.

Set to Deee-Lite's "Groove is in the Heart," the spot quickly cuts to several shots of iconic New York fare.

A group of girls hanging out outside a pizzeria, a fashionable dog walker, skaters, and cheerleaders all groove to the beat in their designer shoes.

The spot's guest stars make quick cameos throughout the spot, as New Yorkers dance all across the city.

It ends with a shot of a sharply-dressed old lady dropping her Sabrett hotdog, which gets run over by a skateboarder in a shirt bearing the campaign name: "Never Miss a Beat."

On the other hand, sneaker giant Nike recently took advantage of a global sporting event by unveiling a new campaign to launch its Olympics breakdancing collection with the artist Futura.
