Leading insurance provider American Family Insurance has teamed up with Marvel Entertainment to launch a brand new ad featuring Anthony Mackie as Captain America.
Launched a few months ahead of the release of "Captain America: Brave New World," the spot gave fans a good look at the superhero's new suit, which has only appeared in trailers for the film so far.
The ad was posted to the official YouTube channel for Marvel Entertainment, gaining over 350,000 views in three days.
Aside from promoting American Family Insurance, it also serves to build up hype for the highly anticipated fourth installment of the Captain America franchise, which last hit theaters in 2016.
"Brave New World" marks Mackie's character Sam Wilson's first film under the Captain America mantle, after he took on the role from Steve Rogers in the 2021 series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier."
This spot is a major milestone for the insurance provider, as it teams up with the largest blockbuster film franchise of all time.
It is an excellent example of how a major brand partnership can scale a company's audience.
By collaborating with established brands, businesses can enhance their credibility and trustworthiness, attracting new customers who may not have previously engaged with them.
Joint marketing initiatives can also create compelling content that resonates with a broader audience, driving engagement and fostering loyalty.
This synergy not only amplifies brand awareness but also opens doors to innovative product offerings that leverage the strengths of both partners, ultimately leading to increased sales and market share.
Captain America Saves the Day
The 30-second film begins with a helicopter flying above a busy street, with Captain America in close pursuit.
Causing chaos throughout the city, the helicopter passes through a construction site and sends heavy debris falling off a construction crane.
Some of the debris is easily blocked by Captain America's shield, but a few cinder blocks crash into the roof of a house, which seems to be protected by a force field.
Wilson quickly flies down to the house, walking in to check on its occupants. The family is safe and unharmed, thanks to the help of America Family Insurance.

The spot ends with Cap telling the family's young son to "hold down the fort" before flying away to save the day.
"Captain America: Brave New World" premieres in cinemas on February 14.
Last year, Marvel Entertainment teamed up with Ryan Reynolds and a wide range of brands to support its last blockbuster film "Deadpool & Wolverine."
Spanning several months, the long series of ads promoted everything from The Bachelorette to Heinz.
