Hershey brand KitKat has announced the launch of the famous chocolate bar's first-ever seasonal shape: the KitKat Santas.
The adorable new treat features a stylized hat, small mittens, a belt, a jolly old smile, and two little boots with "KitKat" imprinted on each one.
Even better, it features more wafers than a regular KitKat for an even crispier bite.
In a press release, KitKat Associate Manager Scott Sorensen said the new shape builds on the brand's product range and offers customers a fun new way to enjoy their favorite snack.
"With an even crispier wafer-to-chocolate ratio, this seasonal twist on our traditional KitKat bar is sure to become a newfound annual ritual, giving fans a taste of more of what's to come from the brand," he concluded.

To celebrate the launch, Kit Kat is collaborating with Simon Properties to bring Santa to three select malls:
- Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York
- Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois
- Brea Mall in Brea, California
Visitors who drop by the "Santa Photo Experience" on December 7 and 8 will get to say hello to St. Nick and receive free KitKat Santas.
The chocolate bar is now available in retail stores nationwide for a limited time.
Although this is the first time KitKat is launching a seasonal shape, it has previously partnered with brands and agencies to reinvent its product.
Earlier in June, the brand collaborated with Heinz to imagine a ketchup-flavored chocolate.
In September, KitKat launched a new campaign with creative agency VML to remind everyone to "Take a Break Better."
Give Me a Break!
KitKat is perhaps best known for its "breakable" design, which lets consumers split the bar in half to share with a friend.
This factors into most of their marketing efforts, aimed at people looking for a "break" from their busy life.
The new Santa variant is a significant change from KitKat's traditional offering, marking the first time the brand has ever produced a different shape.

Should the new shape perform well, fans could expect it to return in the coming years.
KitKat is a stellar example of not only an iconic chocolate bar but one with an easily recognizable yet unique package design.
Packaging design is an important aspect of chocolate, as it differentiates brands from the competition and makes the product easier to remember.
