Jeremy Renner stars in Brooks’s first global campaign in 25 years, "Let's Run There," where he opens up about his snowplowing accident.
A new commercial, titled "Love, Hope, and Titanium," features Renner candidly speaking about his journey to recovery after the accident left him with 38 broken bones, a sliced liver, and a popped lung.
"I have no business doing a running commercial. Fifteen months ago, I was dead, right?" the Hawkeye star jokes as the spot opens.

On New Year's Day last year, Renner was run over by his snowcat while helping his nephew remove a vehicle that got stuck in the snow. His injuries were so severe that doctors told him he would never walk properly again, let alone run.
Despite this, Renner defied all expectations with hard work and resilience — and with a little help from a pair of comfortable Brooks running shoes.
In the ad, Renner shares how Brooks contacted him after finding his Instagram posts inspiring, sending him shoes that might help him out.
"I put those shoes on, and they have so much cushion in them. It's like, it's so good on my joints. It's been a big part of my recovery," the actor says. "Wearing the shoes and running down that driveway, it was a big day for me. It gave me a lot of hope."

The documentary-style spot continues to showcase Renner's mentality during his recovery, which will surely become a source of inspiration for many.
"What's the worst that can happen? Fail? Well, that's the greatest thing that can happen," he reveals. "Your mistakes, your failures, those are your allies, those are your superpowers. It's your fuel."
The commercial ends with Renner's call to action, "Wherever there is for you, a new beginning, a dream, a goal, let's run there."
Behind the Authentic Story of Perseverance
According to Brooks Running CMO Melanie Allen, when they mailed Renner their Ghost Max shoes, they did not have any expectations at all, just hoping that maybe they could help in the actor's rehabilitation.
But when he started posting on Instagram about milestones in his recovery wearing the very same pair of shoes they sent, Renner became the obvious choice for the "Let's Run There" campaign.

Not only does Renner have the star power perfect for a global market, but he used Brooks shoes as he persevered in relearning how to walk and run, making a campaign that's authentic to the core.
It is a powerful testament to the human spirit and the impact of having the right support — in this case, the right shoes.
Brooks is currently enjoying its status as the top running shoe brand in the U.S., a title it has held for nine consecutive quarters after surpassing Nike in 2022.
