HexClad’s Iconic Shaker Launch: Key Findings
Campaign Snapshot
Some collaborations feel inevitable, but you can count on HexClad to make one that feels delightfully unexpected.
The cookware brand backed by Gordon Ramsay has teamed up with Still G.I.N. by Dre and Snoop to launch their first-ever joint product: the HexClad Cocktail Shaker.
The novelty is not that Ramsay and the two music behemoths' paths never crossed before, but that this is the crossover that made it happen.

At its core, the shaker is more than just a bar accessory, with the campaign highlighting its precision, performance, and sophistication.
For HexClad, it extends the brand's identity beyond the kitchen.
And for Still G.I.N., it boosts its modern, premium positioning in the cocktail scene.
“This collaboration bridges innovation, culture, and craftsmanship in a way that feels like a true expression of both brands,” said Danny Winer, CEO and co-founder of HexClad.
“Gordon, Dre, and Snoop each set their own bar for excellence, and bringing their worlds together through this product is something we're incredibly proud of.”
Still G.I.N.’s premium ethos also shapes the product vision.
“What connects Still G.I.N. and HexClad is a commitment to design, innovation, and products that actually perform,” said Patrick Halbert, CEO of By Dre and Snoop.
“This shaker captures that same versatility and attention to detail.”

Notably, the shaker itself was designed by celebrated industrial designer Ini Archibong.
Drawing from the geometry of the Still G.I.N. bottle and HexClad’s signature hexagon pattern, the result is a sculptural, double-wall, vacuum-insulated stainless-steel shaker that keeps cocktails cold without watering them down.
Discreet measurement markers inside the cap add function to the form.
Three Legends in the Kitchen
To bring the product to life, the brands launched a comedic spot created by KODE MEDIA and directed by Peter Franklyn Banks.
The commercial stars Ramsay and Dr. Dre, with Snoop providing the voiceover.
It draws playful parallels between cooking and musical craft as a way to introduce the shaker.
Never thought I’d hear Gordon Ramsay singing ‘GIN & JUICE’ 😂

The HexClad Cocktail Shaker is available exclusively on HexClad.com in Gold and Chrome for $99.
Timed for the holiday season, it's now on sale across the US, Canada, UK, Germany, and Australia.
Ultimately, the campaign chose not to focus solely on utility and instead aimed to turn a functional object into a statement piece featuring a star-studded cast, a thoughtful design, and an epic crossover.
Lessons From HexClad’s Layered Approach to Brand Storytelling
HexClad’s shaker is a masterclass in how to bake product design, celebrity, and storytelling into one campaign.
- Cross-category collaborations can make brands more relevant when they share a clear design and performance philosophy.
- Cultural credibility from big names works best when it is built into the product, not just layered on as promotion.
- Thoughtful product design paired with entertaining content can shift perception from utility to lifestyle object.
Similar crossover strategies have been seen in past lifestyle-driven product drops where brands relied on design and celebrity influence to go beyond categories.
Our Take: Will This Shaker Live Beyond the Hype?
Who wouldn't want to see two legends of their fields come together to promote a product?
There is something fun about watching a kitchen brand dance with hip-hop royalty without losing its sense of craft.
More than anything, this collab with HexClad and Still G.I.N. feels like a test of whether celebrities can really influence a purchase and imbue a functional product with more meaning and relevance.
If people actually use this shaker instead of just photographing it, both brands may have found a smart new lane where performance and personality comfortably coexist.
In other news, Dr.Squatch teamed with Stranger Things actor Brett Gelman to reprise his conspiracist role in a spot promoting new soaps inspired by the show.
