Every Man Jack is putting $100,000 behind the people who rarely get the credit.
The Sweat Equity Sweepstakes opened for entries today, September 1.
Entrants nominate someone whose daily effort goes unnoticed.
The initiative extends Every Man Jack's "For Men Who Put in the Work" platform through stories from brand ambassadors.
Each ambassador, including Baker Mayfield, Max Homa, and Bryce Eldridge, will nominate someone who taught them discipline and perseverance.
Consumers can also submit nominations through a campaign microsite.
Social posts unlock extra entries, and buying either new deodorant at Walmart gets shoppers $3 cash back.
One grand prize winner gets $100,000 plus a Baker Mayfield kit, and Mayfield announces the winner on a live call.
Ten runners-up get the same $150 kit, and up to 500 community winners get a $30 best-sellers set.
"At Every Man Jack, we talk a lot about achievement, but that's just the visible part of the story.
What interests us is everything before it: the early mornings, the setbacks, the decision to keep showing up when nobody's watching.
That's what 'Sweat Equity' is really about," Nick Hasselberg, VP of marketing and omnichannel at Every Man Jack, told DesignRush.

The sweepstakes also arrives with two reformulated deodorants available through Walmart.
The launch connects the sweepstakes straight to the Walmart shelf.
Every Man Jack is making everyday effort the product story, the consumer action, and the prize.
Every Man Jack Makes Recognition the Creative
The brand reduced the platform to one consumer action.
Mayfield will spotlight his high school football coach, while Homa and Eldridge will also share their own nominations.
The athletes supply the recognition, and the people they nominate stay at the center of the campaign.
A dedicated microsite will also function as a gallery for submitted stories.

Consumers can post their own "put in the work" content, tag Every Man Jack, and share campaign posts for additional entries.
"Culture right now is obsessed with optimization, hacking your routine, tracking every input," Hasselberg added.
"But real growth rarely comes from a system.
It comes from another person: a coach, a father, a mentor who showed up for you before you had anything to show for it."
The campaign runs alongside two new products, the All Day Aluminum-Free Deodorant and the 48-Hour Antiperspirant Deodorant.
The execution links recognition, participation, and purchase, and user-generated content does most of the campaign's work.
Men's Grooming Growth Meets Social Influence
U.S. men's grooming sales reached $7.1 billion in 2025, according to NielsenIQ, up 6.9% year over year, while deodorant grew 11.4%.
Deodorant is outpacing the category, which puts Every Man Jack's launch in the fastest-moving aisle.
Sixty percent of men now also purchase products to maintain their appearance over time.
Meanwhile, 59% express concern about aging, and 40% say premium brands are worth the price.

Men are treating grooming as a considered purchase, which gives premium claims more room to work.
Discovery is happening on social first.
TikTok and Instagram are making grooming more visible and aspirational.
Humor and scent variety keep challengers like Dr. Squatch and Dude Wipes in the conversation.
Households with teens spend 26% more than average on grooming, which puts teenagers inside the household purchase decision.
Every Man Jack's nomination format gives these teenagers a reason to post, and their households already spend above average at the shelf.

These trends support three campaign principles:
- Grooming connects to identity. Brands should tie daily-use products to recognizable behaviors and values to make functional categories more relevant.
- Social influence can turn routines into participation. Brands should give consumers simple ways to share personal stories to generate engagement.
- Category growth creates room for brand personality. Teams should use humor, creators, and distinctive benefits to make grooming more memorable.
Category growth and social discovery are moving in the same direction, which makes brand positioning the deciding factor in men's personal care.
Our Take: Do the New Formulas Strengthen the Platform?
The reformulated deodorants give Every Man Jack’s platform a more tangible product story.
The All Day Aluminum-Free Deodorant and 48-Hour Antiperspirant Deodorant are positioned around stronger odor protection and skin science.
This allows the products to deliver on the same performance promise as the men featured in the campaign.

The brand messaging around discipline and showing up every day has more credibility when the products are engineered for these routines.
The risk is that the sweepstakes drives entries without driving trial, leaving Every Man Jack with 500 social posts and no repeat buyers.
We think what helps here is the $3 cash back, which puts the product in consumers' hands and lets the formula make its own case.
The brand's recent packaging redesign closes some of the gap, too, since a shopper who hears the story now has something findable on the shelf.
Every Man Jack will know the platform did its job when first-time buyers come back on their own.
