Country music star Dolly Parton and Tennessee Tourism have joined forces to create the “ultimate Playcation.”
The partnership calls on kids and kids-at-heart to plan their vacations using the Tennessee Playcation Kid's Guide, a 90-plus-page handbook.
Pre-orders for the free booklet began on October 29 at DollyPlaycation.com, with guides set to hit mailboxes by November 25.
Guide purchasers should keep an eye out for 10 hidden "Butterfly Tickets" for a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime VIP Dollywood Experience.
The tickets will be valid for the park's 2025 season-opening celebration and include a two-night stay at one of Dollywood's luxury resorts for a family of four, season passes to Dollywood, a signed Dolly-inspired guitar and an activity pass to explore more family-friendly attractions in Pigeon Forge, where Dollywood is located.

Dollywood has earned its reputation as one of the world's top theme parks, recently unveiling its longest roller coaster ever while also racking up more awards for live entertainment than any other park.
Since 1986, Dolly Parton has brought her entertainment expertise and star power to the park, helping it thrive.
“I love making dreams come true, and this is a chance for families to dream big and plan their perfect Tennessee vacation at one of my favorite places — Dollywood.
I'm tickled to be part of this adventure and help create some memories that will last a lifetime. There's nothing quite like spending time with family, and I'm just thrilled to give folks a little something special with these Butterfly Tickets!” said Parton.
Parton's collaboration with Tennessee Tourism showcases a great example of experiential marketing, promoting tourism in Tennessee and Parton's brand to appeal to families.
Planning the Ultimate Playcation
Over 250,000 copies of the Tennessee Playcation Kid's Guide will be distributed for free, packed with fun activities.
The handbook also features over 45 family-friendly Tennessee destinations, including Dollywood, the Memphis Zoo, the Tennessee Aquarium, and the Grand Ole Oprywill.
To make it even more exciting, kids are invited to submit their own artwork for a chance to be featured on a Tennessee-sponsored billboard.
Parton has had many lucrative brand collaborations in the past, including her role as "Coach Dolly" in last year's Salvation Army's "Dolly's Halftime Intro," which aimed to rally support for the organization's causes.
