Diet Coke just released a stylish new commercial inspired by real-life stories from the brand's dedicated fan base.

Titled "Love What You Love, By You," the ad is part of the same global campaign launched in 2022.

It seeks to spotlight the unique moments and personal connections individuals have with Diet Coke by using real quotes from customers across the UK.

The newly released 30-second spot highlights the everyday moments of Diet Coke fans enjoying their favorite beverage.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Marie Schuller, the spot kicks off with a woman boldly showcasing her unique style with the support of her Diet Coke.

Despite having an uncomfortable elevator moment, she embraces her fashion choices as she confidently struts to the office in leopard prints and high heels.

Meanwhile, a couple plays a game of hide and seek with their kids. While dad decides to hide inside the closet, mom grabs a can of ice-cold Diet Coke and gets in the car to quietly savor her drink.

The spot ends with the message, "Give yourself a Diet Coke Break."

Fan Service

The latest from the diet soda brand serves as a tribute to its loyal consumers, who have associated Diet Cokes with taking a break.

"We love that each of these stories are inspired by real-life Diet Coke breaks, shared with us by real fans," Omar Sadiq-Baig, Senior Brand Manager at The Coca-Cola Company, commented.

"We know for many years that we have some of the most loyal consumers to our brand, so this year we’ve put them at the forefront of our campaign to celebrate their individuality."

The "Love What You Love, By You" campaign is up on various media channels including TV, digital, and out-of-home (OOH) advertising.
