Skrewball just launched a new campaign that puts a nutty spin on its whiskey.
The 30-second advert "House of High Spirits" introduces viewers to the fictional "Skrew," who is called upon the house to make "Peanut Butter Whiskey."
"Young sir, whiskey is supposed to taste aged, with notes of wood and metal, and the finest grains," members of the house tell the whiskey maker, as he nonchalantly shrugs them off.
In his defense, the people are fans of his new concoction, enjoying the drink on the rocks as they lounge around the courtroom.
Skrew then pleads "unusually delicious," as the spot closes with the campaign slogan: "Skrew the Usual."
Skrewball is in with the New
Made alongside The Martin Agency, Skrewball's latest campaign spotlights its Peanut Butter Whiskey, breaking the traditional conceptions of the age-old drink.
While this might trigger some whiskey purists, it hopes to invite consumers to break away from their "usuals" in life to make new delicious discoveries, instilling in them a "you only live once" mindset.
"Skrewball wants to inspire consumers to take detours and seek out the weird and wonderful," Skrewball Whiskey Brand Director Kuppy Sampale said in a press release.

The campaign, which counts as its biggest marketing effort since being acquired by Pernod Ricard in 2023, also pushes the brand to challenge expectations, being a relative newcomer to the alcoholic beverage industry.
"We're excited to bring the 'Skrew the Usual' mentality to more people with our new campaign and hope it encourages people to give Skrewball a shot... literally," explained Steve and Brittany Yeng, co-founders of Skrewball Whiskey.
The Peanut Butter Whiskey is available nationwide and in select retailers in Canada, Puerto Rico, and Central America.
