Pepsi and celebrity chef Bobby Flay are back with a fiery campaign sparking excitement for backyard barbecues.
In "Grills Night Out," the soft drink brand has declared itself as the Official Beverage of America's favorite past-time — grilling.
Together with the campaign, it launched a series of spots that show the phases of a typical Grills Night Out, from prepping, to cooking, down to enjoying.
In "Prep," Flay puts on his grilling attire, starts up the fire, and prepares for the night ahead with an ice-cold Pepsi.
Meanwhile, "Cook" is as its name suggests, with a montage of grillers cooking up burgers, kebabs, sausages, and mouth-watering barbecues to the sound of Donna Waters' hit "Hot Stuff."
Lastly, "Enjoy" shows the chefs' efforts pay off as they feast on a banquet of food laid out on their backyard table. Of course, the celebrations wouldn't be complete without cans of Pepsi.
America's Favorite Pastime
Pepsi's latest summer campaign hops on the known truth that grilling is a widely enjoyed activity in the U.S.
According to a Harris Poll study, nine out of 10 Americans look forward to grilling, with 84% planning to now more than last year.
"Given how amazing burgers, hot dogs, and just about any other grilled food tastes with an ice cold refreshing Pepsi, we thought it was only fitting to declare Pepsi as the 'Official Beverage of Grills Night Out,'" Pepsi CMO Todd Kaplan said in a statement.
To boost its marketing efforts coming into Memorial Day, the soda giant is also hosting an Ultimate "Grills Night Out" Giveaway to make everyone's BBQ extra special.

Through this, Pepsi fans from New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles will get a chance to win a customized grocery delivery based on top searches around the Memorial Day Weekend.
"By leveraging our deep understanding of consumer shopping preferences, we're able to craft a meticulously curated grocery giveaway that provides fans with everything they need for the perfect weekend of grilling," Laura Jones, Instacart CMO, shared.
Pepsi first unveiled its collaboration with Flay last April, introducing two new soda flavors, including Pepsi Lime and Pepsi Peach.
