Meta is doubling down on its efforts to capitalize on the growing popularity of Reels and video content by introducing new ad tools to Facebook and Instagram.
In a news release, the tech giant detailed its unveiling of a suite of ad tools during the IAB Newfronts event.
The suite was designed to enhance advertising performance through creator collaborations, AI-driven creative optimization, and innovative ad formats
ML-Powered Creator Recommendations
One standout feature is its personalized creator recommendations powered by machine learning.
Available through Instagram's Creator Marketplace, this tool can help brands search for specific creators by filtering creator and audience attributes, allowing them to send campaign briefs to creators they want to work with.
Additionally, this feature can also make them more discoverable to creators, reducing both the time and cost of campaign rollouts.

In line with the feature, Meta is also exploring the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) to predict the performance of organic branded content in paid Facebook and Instagram campaigns.
"As we learn more here, we’ll explore integrating this technology into our business solutions," the company wrote.
AI on Reels Ads
Meta is also investing in AI solutions to enhance the effectiveness of Reels ads through the following features:
- The Image Expansion feature from Advantage+ to Reels allows advertisers to create more engaging visual content, simplifying the process of adapting creative assets to different aspect ratios to optimize ad spend and deliver more compelling ads
- Reminder ads enable advertisers to build anticipation and drive consideration for upcoming launches or promotions by including external links to new products or sales, seamlessly guiding users from interest to purchase directly within the Reels environment
- Multi-destination Product Ads, a dynamic format powered by Advantage+ catalog ads, allow users to swipe through multiple products within a single ad to drive conversions
"As people continue to spend time watching Reels on Facebook and Instagram, we are investing in enhanced AI-powered solutions to make Reels ads more engaging for people and more effective for advertisers," Meta stated.
