Garnier teamed up with comedian Ilana Glazer for its latest campaign, challenging the beauty world's obsession with ultra-glowy skin trends.

"De-Glaze My Makeup With Me" introduces Garnier Micellar Water with Salicylic Acid, a simple, effective solution for removing makeup and purifying skin without the need for a 10-step routine.

Glazer leads the charge with a comedic take on the beauty industry's ever-changing trends, poking fun at the effort required to achieve the perfect "glazed" look, only to wipe it all away at the end of the day.

In a press release, Garnier USA SVP Ali Fakih emphasized the importance of effective yet gentle cleansing.

"It is crucial to recognize the importance of complete makeup removal as a fundamental aspect of skincare, especially for individuals with skin that is oily and prone to acne."

Partnering with a known comedian and influencer like Glazer gives Garnier's campaign a fresh, relatable spin, making skincare feel fun instead of overwhelming.

Humor helps brands cut through the noise, turning a simple product launch into a shareable cultural moment.

Time to De-Glaze

The campaign kicks off with a six-minute comedy special starring Glazer, where she hilariously questions the effort behind getting dolled up, only to undo it hours later.

Mocking the extremes of modern beauty trends — whether it's "dolphin face" or "glazed donut skin" — she makes the case for a no-fuss skincare routine.

Garnier Micellar Water with Salicylic Acid is designed to cleanse, mattify, and remove makeup in one step, making it ideal for those with oily or acne-prone skin.
