Flonase has teamed up with Netflix's Bridgerton for an exciting new campaign set in its world.
Together with TV production outfit Shondaland and creative agency Publicis, a 90-second spot from the medical brand plays out like an episode of the series, complete with a voiceover that resembles Lady Whistledown's.
It's finally spring and the ladies and gentlemen of the Ton stroll around a lusciously green garden.
"Bees, butterflies, and young hearts are a flutter in this most passionate of seasons, which leaves many of us wondering what budding relationships might blossom," a woman narrates, nudging at a potential romance between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington.

But as the group goes about their walk in the huge garden, they begin to show allergic reactions, interfering with their activities.
"What is this condition? Sneezing? Runny nose? Itchy eyes?" the narrator continues.
As their symptoms intensify, the gang heads to the new apothecary in town to seek someone with the "expertise to create the perfect remedy."
However, they have come to discover that this remedy would only be ready in 200 years.
As the commercial closes, it is revealed in the writing that this remedy is Flonase. Underneath the brand logo are the names of Penelope and Colin, which eventually merge to become Polin.
All the other text disappears, leaving the page to say: "There's only room for one Polin in the Ton."
Behind the Campaign
Shondaland, which proposed the idea to Flonase, was inspired by the similarities between the allergen "pollen" and Bridgerton's ship name "Polin."
"We wanted to highlight that although allergies were not officially diagnosed during that period, it doesn’t mean they didn’t exist," Flonase Brand Director Tish Tillie shared with AdWeek.
"Shondaland developed a fun way to show someone suffering from allergies seeking help, but they did not find a solution because they needed to wait for Flonase to be invented."
The Haleon-owned brand's latest marketing efforts also come in anticipation of the upcoming third season of Bridgerton, set to air this coming May on Netflix.
"It was amazing to see the rigor Shondaland put into the development of the campaign," Tillie added. "It was a true partnership as we worked toward one common goal."
