Evian just launched an exciting new campaign that takes its viewers to the fun-filled "Mountain of Youth."
Made together with BETC Paris, a short spot that sees a mountaineer traversing through the French Alps in search of the source of the Mountain of Youth — a play on the fabled "Fountain of Youth."
However, what our hero doesn't know is that he's being observed by the local mountain-dwellers, dubbed "Evianers," as they remain camouflaged and out of his sight.
Behind his back, they have full-on snowball fights and ski races, dressed up as rocks, trees, and even the mythical Abominable Snowman.
The roughhousing leads the explorer to be suspicious, as a snowball accidentally lands on his back.
Despite this, the Evianer tribe members are quick to disguise themselves and blend with nature, and the mountaineer's journey continues, as the advert ends.
How 'Live Young' Drove the Campaign
Set to the track "Joy" by Pharrell Williams, Evian's latest campaign hopes to spark happiness and emit the youthful essence of the brand, aligning with its "Live Young" brand slogan.
Acclaimed director Henry Scholfield, who is known for his work with Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa, explained how the campaign's concept is an excellent life philosophy that ties well into this line.
"I wanted this irreverence and joie de vivre to come to life in each of our depictions of their world, from what they do to what they wear, while capturing the spirit of the 'Mountain of Youth,' and its inhabitants, who are a lotta bit mischievous and a little bit wild," he added.

In the lead-up to the short film's release, the hydration brand also dropped a series of playful teasers vaguely introducing the Evianers and the secrets of the Mountain of Youth.
"Great excitement on the part of both Evian and BETC teams as we pick up where we left off and continue the amazing Live Young saga," said Antoinette Beatson, BETC Paris VP and executive creative director.
