Country fusion artist Shaboozey is making waves again, this time as the star of Nerds' Super Bowl campaign.
Following his appearance in Beyoncé's halftime show during Netflix's NFL Christmas debut, Shaboozey now takes center stage in a teaser for the Ferrara Candy brand's Big Game ad.
Helmed by agency of record Digitas Chicago, the teaser highlights Nerds Gummy Clusters with all of the brand's signature playful energy.

As one of country music's most innovative stars, Shaboozey is the perfect ambassador to showcase the candy brand's bold fusion of flavors.
In an interview with Billboard, the chart-topping artist spoke about his love for Nerds and his appreciation for being involved in the campaign:
“I remember Halloween, getting those little boxes and pouring the candy into my mouth. I love them so much."
"I make country music, and to be able to have the guitar and my world, and have just everything that I’m into, combined with Nerds Gummy Clusters was just amazing. It’s combining two things that are really good on their own to make something even better.”
This campaign marks Nerds' second Super Bowl appearance following the brand's 2024 debut ad starring Addison Rae. Inspired by the iconic 80s film "Flashdance," the brand's first Super Bowl commercial increased retail sales from $50 million to over $800 million in just 52 weeks.
Now, Nerds' latest effort aims to blend genres and flavors when it airs during the third quarter of the Super Bowl.

Nerds choosing to incorporate a renowned artist like Shaboozey into their marketing strategy not only appeals to a diverse audience but also underscores the brand's commitment to innovation and creativity.
By aligning with popular culture and leveraging the broad reach of the Super Bowl, Nerds effectively positions itself as a dynamic and contemporary brand.
Overall, the campaign is a strategic move to deepen customer engagement, strengthen brand loyalty, and ultimately drive higher sales and market share in an increasingly competitive confectionery industry.

It then scampers up Shaboozey's guitar, which magically transforms into a vibrant, candy-coated instrument.
The spot ends with a smiling Shaboozey strumming a few chords on his guitar for the little Nerd.
Earlier this week, Bud Light launched its own Super Bowl ad trailer with another country crossover star, Post Malone.
