Concacaf has 41 national teams competing across one regional tournament.

Bulletproof gave these teams one visual language and one idea, rising together.

The branding agency created a new identity for the Concacaf Nations League, using ascending forms inspired by the competition trophy.

Forms begin separately, introduce tension as they meet, then intertwine to reveal the trophy.

The system also gives Leagues A, B, and C distinct color palettes while keeping them connected to one competition identity.

The idea responds to a difficult branding brief.

Concacaf spans North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Football cultures, histories, and development levels vary greatly in these regions.

"Together We Rise" gives these differences a common visual idea.

Concacaf President and FIFA VP Victor Montagliani said the competition has created more meaningful and competitive opportunities for the region.

"The Concacaf Nations League has become a powerful driver of progress for football across our region," he said in a press release.

"This refreshed identity reflects the growth of the competition and the ambition we share for its future."

Bulletproof's answer makes the progress visible.

It gives the tournament an identity that can express individual ambition and collective achievement at the same time.

Concacaf revealed the identity at the July draw, and it goes live in competition this week as the fifth edition opens with 74 group-stage matches.

Bulletproof Makes Progress the Visual Language

The new system starts with a simple visual premise. A single ascending form represents the courage to begin a journey.

A second form introduces competition and rivalry.

As the forms rise and intertwine, they reveal the Concacaf Nations League trophy.

The idea gives the brandmark a sequence that mirrors the competition.

Teams enter with individual goals and compete against one another.

Ultimately, each team contributes to a regional competition with one shared visual identity.

The color system adds another layer of distinction.

Oceanic blues reference the waters connecting the region, while separate palettes identify Leagues A, B, and C.

The Finals use silver, platinum, and natural stone tones inspired by the trophy.

This gives Concacaf a visual system that can express difference while keeping the competition recognizable.

41 Nations, 74 Matches, One Growing Property

The Nations League now enters its fifth edition with all 41 Concacaf Member Associations involved across three leagues.

The opening September-October window includes 74 group-stage matches.

This gives the refreshed brand a large volume of live competition to appear across.

The tournament also reaches its 500th match on September 24, when the Cayman Islands face Dominica at Windsor Park in Roseau.

This creates a measurable milestone for a competition that is still expanding its role in the world of football.

League B's 16 teams now compete for promotion, Gold Cup qualification, and a centralized championship held for the first time in March 2027.

League C also gets its first championship, adding another competitive prize to the promotion race.

These numbers give the new identity a practical test to stay recognizable across a competition that keeps growing.

The campaign offers three useful lessons for brands managing identities across complex properties.

  • A strong idea can organize visual variation. Brands should give different products or audiences a shared visual rule to create cross-market recognition.
  • Progress gives identity systems a reason to change. Marketers should connect changes to real stages of the audience journey to make each expression meaningful.
  • Flexible identities need repeated exposure. Teams should design systems for every channel where a brand appears to create consistency.

When a brand has many audiences and formats, a shared visual logic can keep the system recognizable.

Our Take: Can World Cup Fever Still Generate Attention for Concacaf?

Concacaf timed this launch four days after the 2026 World Cup final, when the region had more football attention than it will get again for years.

We'd argue that the attention is still there to be won, though the identity now has to hold it without a global tournament carrying the region.

Bulletproof's brief called for harnessing momentum around the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and this momentum has a short shelf life.

We expect the identity to do more work across broadcast, social, commercial assets, and matchday environments through the next two cycles.

Concacaf also secured FOX Sports rights for the Nations League in the U.S. through 2029, giving it a major broadcast platform.

This makes the flexibility of the "Rise" platform commercially important.

Concacaf needs one recognizable brand that can keep up with each league, season, and tournament.
