Clif Bar has launched its latest integrated brand campaign, revealing the single most important ingredient to its sustainable energy bars: You. 

The "Most Important Ingredient Is You" initiative casts world-renowned athletes such as tennis player Francis Tiafoe, soccer star Sophia Smith, and basketball athlete Breanna Stewart to bring their energy to their respective sports, encouraging Clif Bar fans to "get out there and try."

The campaign's main 15-second spot sees Tiafoe on a tennis court recharging his energy with a Chocolate Chip-flavored Clif Bar. 

"Because the more good you put in, the more great you put out," he explains. 

After a series of tennis montages, the short advert ends with the campaign tagline.

From Good to Great

Made together with David New York and supported by Dentsu and VaynerMedia, Clif Bar's latest marketing efforts aim to give its audience the spotlight as the company transforms the goodness of its energy bars into the greatness of their achievements.

"'The Most Important Ingredient is You' champions the individual as an integral part of every CLIF-fueled activity, whether it's going for a hike, taking a spin on a bike, or playing pick-up basketball," Clif Bar Director of Partnerships and Activation Brooke Donberg shared.

To boost its marketing, the energy food and drink company will roll out its campaign in the U.S. and Canada, together with video ads on TV, digital, and social media.
