Applebee’s is spiriting things up this October with the launch of three new Halloween-themed cocktails.
Available starting October 1 across Applebee’s stores across the U.S., guests can drop dead to the tastes of Boo-zy Buckets and Spooky Sips.
Adding to the mix is the DOLLAR ZOMBIE, resurrecting from a six-year hiatus in the restaurant’s menu.
Nathan Grover, executive director of bar & beverage at Applebee's, invites you to bite into the flavors of its new cocktail lineup in a press release:
"Our lineup of Halloween cocktails this year is packed with flavor and variety — from the DOLLAR ZOMBIE, to our new $10 Boo-zy Buckets and Spooky Sips — guests can get into the Halloween spirit all month long!"
Famous for its holiday-themed drinks, Applebee's has made seasonal advertising its own by adding a refreshing take to its regular menu.
This kind of strategy doesn't only enhance brand awareness by capitalizing on a season but also creates a sense of urgency for customers to try the limited offering, increasing sales.
The Tricks Behind the Treats
Made from rum, passion fruit, pineapple, cherry, and lime and topped with a gummy brain, the signature DOLLAR ZOMBIE is guaranteed to bring anyone back to life — all for just $1.
Meanwhile, the new $10 Dracula’s Juice Bucket is a blood-curdling mix of Patron Silver Tequila and Blackberry Moonshine with triple sec, strawberry, and lemon.
The new $10 Franken-Mama Bucket, on the other hand, includes Bacardí Superior Rum and Applebee’s signature blue tropical mix with a gummy brain garnish, putting a wicked twist on the iconic Bahama Mama.
Both Dracula’s Juice Bucket and Franken-Mama come in a 32-ounce bucket and are made of premium spirits.
Another savage drink on Applebee’s menu is the new $5 Boo Lagon, which has an iridescent blue color, reminiscent of Iceland’s eerie Blue Lagoon.
This concoction is made from Bacardí Superior Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, blue curaçao, and pineapple juice and poured into Applebee’s signature Mucho glass.
For those who aren't that into cocktails, Applebee’s also serves $6 Modelo Especial Brewtus draft beers.
With the wide variety of specialty drinks at Applebee’s, guests are free to pick their poison and bewitch the night until Hallow’s Eve.
Just recently, Applebee’s kicked off the NFL season with a six-part mini-series featuring Brock Purdy, Saquon Barkley, and Dan Campbell.
