Prada Beauty found its next signature face in one of Hollywood's most influential stars.
The luxury brand named Zendaya its new global ambassador for Prada Paradoxe.
Academy Award winner Barry Jenkins directs her debut campaign, which introduces Prada Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum.
The signing puts her in the same portfolio as her husband, Tom Holland, who has fronted the men's counterpart Prada Paradigme since August 2025.

Zendaya framed the deal as a continuation of a habit she already had, since she wore Paradoxe before Prada ever approached her.
"For me, the fragrances we choose are a reflection of how we move through the world," Zendaya said in a statement.
"Joining the brand feels like a completely natural extension of that mindset, especially since Paradoxe was already a personal favorite."
Genuine prior use holds up once the press starts digging, and this credibility is what luxury brands are paying for in celebrity endorsements.
A 15-Second Film on Duality
Jenkins' film centers on the same duality that defines the Paradoxe line.
He presents Zendaya as someone who holds contradictions without losing her identity.
Sweet Chemistry follows the same logic, pairing blackcurrant syrup with orange blossom absolute and a neroli milk accord.
"Zendaya is the embodiment of Prada Paradoxe," Rosa Carriço, global president of Prada Beauty, shared in a press statement.
"Her commitment to her own authenticity while capturing the essence of our time makes her the ideal partner for this new chapter,"

Jenkins took his Academy Award in 2017 for the "Moonlight" screenplay, a writing win that shows in how little the spot actually says.
The 15-second film rests on a single line, "Never the same, but always myself."
Auteur directors have become a fixture of luxury branding, since a recognizable visual signature gives a short spot the weight of a cinematic trailer.
Prada's First-Half Revenue of $3.5 Billion
The Zendaya news arrives days after Prada Group reported first-half net revenue of €3.05 billion (approx. $3.52 billion).
Growth measured 16% at constant exchange rates, 11% at current rates, and 5% organic once Versace is stripped out.
The Americas carried the half with a 37% year-over-year gain and 17% organic growth.
Signing an American actress points the fragrance campaign at the region already delivering Prada's strongest organic growth.
Plus, Zendaya signed on with Prada Beauty with a release slate that includes "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," "The Odyssey," and "Dune: Part Three."
Timing an ambassador signing to a product launch and a heavy release schedule stretches Prada's budget across months of coverage.

The campaign highlights three lessons for marketers.
- Authenticity strengthens endorsements. Brands should partner with ambassadors who already use or genuinely connect with the product.
- Cultural visibility compounds value. Companies should align campaigns with talent during busy entertainment calendars to extend exposure.
- Creative talent shapes brand perception. Brands should pair respected filmmakers with premium products to create advertising people remember.
Casting fit gets most of the attention in celebrity deals, though timing is what determines how far the money travels.
Our Take: What Does Signing Both Zendaya and Tom Holland Unlock for Prada Beauty?
Prada Beauty now holds two ambassadors whose audiences merged through a wedding nobody was allowed to see, which is why the internet spent months trying.
Together, they also attract a fan community that closely follows their relationship, public appearances, and careers.
We think that the real value sits in the calendar, since every premiere the two attend together doubles as an unpaid fragrance placement.
The risk is that Prada presses the couple angle too hard and lets Paradoxe and Paradigme blur into one story.
Prada should continue giving each fragrance its own brand identity and let the couple's narrative flourish organically.
As celebrity partnerships become more competitive, we expect more luxury brands to consider the long-term value of culturally influential names.
Prada's latest ambassador news follows another luxury beauty partnership, with YSL Beauty recently naming Alisha Boe the face of Black Opium.
Celebrity endorsements work best when every part of the brand experience feels cohesive.
