Fast-food chain Whataburger is serving up some historic surprises in honor of its 75th anniversary.
The anniversary campaign kicked off by cracking open the "WhataVault," bringing back fan-favorite menu items.
Responding to the overwhelming fan demand on Reddit and Instagrqwertyam, Whataburger is bringing back classics like the Monterey Melt and Chicken Fajita Taco.
Whataburger will also debut new limited-edition flavors, including their new Mexican Hot Chocolate Shake and Coffee.

This follows the appointment of Debbie Stroud, who assumed the role of Whataburger president and CEO on the first day of 2025.
In a press release, she highlighted how the celebrations honor the brand's lengthy history and the spirit of its amazing fans.
“We love keeping things fresh at Whataburger, but sometimes the best way to celebrate is by serving up the classics.”
"Whether you've been a loyal fan since 1950 or just discovered us, this is our way of saying a big, heartfelt 'thank you' for all the years of love, loyalty, and late-night drive-thrus."
The revival of the Whataburger classics is just the first step in the chain's anniversary celebrations.

The brand will reportedly revive more of its legendary offerings, collaborate with other iconic brands, and offer new exciting flavors in the lead-up to its birthday on August 8.
This latest effort is a great example of using nostalgia marketing as a way to engage with audiences, and as a springboard to introduce changes that are more aligned with modern sensibilities.
Big Year For Burgers
In addition to the returning menu items, the brand unveiled a new page of its website, aiming to tell "75 Stories for 75 Years" from longtime fans and new faces.
This month, the brand will also begin offering monthly deals on special merchandise and collectibles for $19.50 — a nod to the chain's founding year.
Whataburger also announced an upcoming Spring collaboration with Wrangler, which will involve a 24-piece collection featuring denim jackets, jeans, and other apparel.

Finally, the brand also plans to bring back "Whatawedding" for Valentine's Day, giving one couple a chance to win their dream wedding at the Whataburger restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip.
Whataburger isn't the only brand celebrating a milestone anniversary this year. Goodyear recently celebrated the 100th anniversary of its world-famous Goodyear Blimp.
