Wayfair just launched a new spot from its latest "Go Your Own Wayfair" campaign, convincing customers to do more than just think of the furniture they want.

The 30-second ad "Get it out of your head and into your home" sees our protagonist taking a walk around the city. However, her imagination begins to run wild when people, and even animals, become walking and talking furniture in her eyes.

Along the street, she bumps into a barking shelf being walked by its owner. By the subway, lamps, and couches loiter beside her. Inside the train, a bedroom drawer coughs out pairs of colorful socks.

As the advert draws to a close, our protagonist attempts to touch a standing rug, before it flicks her hand away from it.

Finally, to get the furniture "out of her head," she visits the Wayfair website and purchases the handmade floormat, taking it home as the spot ends.

Making Dream Homes Come to Life

Made together with the agency Jung von Matt London, the spot celebrates the customers' moments of discovery upon finding the furniture they desire.

"We’re thrilled to champion each customer’s unique style and personality, offering a wide selection of quality items to bring their vision to life," explains David Twehues, Wayfair's CMO.

Meanwhile, Jung von Matt London Executive Creative Director Charlie Hurst and Marcos Gemal shared their insights on the idea behind the campaign:

"When you’re creating your perfect space at home, it’s hard to stop thinking about it, even when going about your daily life. This is something we have enjoyed bringing to life with this creative."

"Get it out of your head and into your home" is the third installation in an ad series the furniture giant kickstarted last year as part of the "Go Your Own Wayfair" campaign.

In October, the company launched "Bland Sucks," which sees an automatic vacuum cleaner ditching the monotonously gray rooms to clean a vibrant Wayfair-filled space.
