Known for its no-fee chequing accounts, Tangerine Bank has partnered with creative agency Rethink to help Canadians tackle rising airline baggage fees.
Starting January 3, the first 7,500 eligible Tangerine clients can receive a $40 rebate on baggage fees, making travel a little more affordable.
The rebate applies to any airline baggage fees — checked or carry-on — purchased directly with an airline using a Tangerine Credit Card or VISA Debit Card.
The process is seamless, with no need for receipts. Clients simply need to make a qualifying purchase of at least $39.55, and the rebate will be credited to their Tangerine account within 60 days.
