Snoop Dogg Promotes Women's Slip-On Sneakers for Skechers

As part of their ongoing partnership, Skechers and American rapper Snoop Dogg have put out a new spot promoting the brand's new Women's Slip-On sneakers.

The 30-second advert sees the artist asking the ladies to "put a little Snoop in their step," as different models don footwear pieces from the Skechers x Snoop Dogg collection. 

The stylish spot also incorporates nostalgia in its visual elements, using old TVs and retro filters as the women strut their poses. 

It comes as part of an ongoing marketing initiative to tout the collaborative offerings. 

Last week, the sportswear launched a similar spot in Spanish touting the Skechers x Snoop Dogg Foamies — just one of the many pieces born out of their longstanding partnership.

Before that, the sneaker company also teamed up with English footballer Harry Kane to star in a commercial with Snoop, in which they demonstrated how "hands-free" and easy it is to slip your feet into their shoes. 

Skechers and Snoop first inked their deal in August last year, incorporating the rapper's unique design vision with the innovative comfort the brand brings to its sneakers.

Recently, the two have teamed up to launch a custom collection of Sneakers in time for the Paris Olympics, which comes in five unique and eye-catching colorways.

Snoop of All Trades

The "Drop It Like It's Hot" artist, known for his eccentric yet laidback personality, has been a go-to for big brands looking to pursue influencer marketing.

A long-term partnership like Skechers and Snoop's that even involves product collaboration ensures a more authentic influencer campaign that effectively elevates the brand's identity.

Whether in the realm of food and beverage, office supplies, or flameless stoves, Snoop has found his way with companies from all sorts of industries, injecting his brand of fun into any and every initiative. 

Earlier this week, Snoop and Solo Stove dropped a new spot, following the viral campaign the two launched late last year. 

Last month, the rapper and his longtime friend Martha Stewart starred in BIC's Olympics campaign, where Snoop rated Stewart's candle-lighting skills as if it were an Olympic sport.
